Attorney David A. Kirkscey (retired) is one of the founding partners of the firm.

David retired from active legal practice in 2016 but remains as a consulting attorney for Mike and the firm.


David handles and advises on the areas of retail debt collections,
landlord/tenant law, evictions, foreclosures, real estate closings and similar matters.

David is a 1966 graduate of the University of Memphis School of Law and has been an active member of the Tennessee Bar Association in good standing since 1966. He became an Associate with Holt, Bachelor & Spicer of Memphis, Tennessee in 1966 and a partner from 1968-1970.

He was an original partner in the formation of Sacharin & Kirkscey in 1973 and is now Retired Senior Partner in Sacharin, Kirkscey & Flexsenhar, the oldest creditor collections and landlord/tenant law firm in Memphis. With original partner Jon Sacharin (who passed away in 1990), David co-wrote two sections of the Tennessee Residential Landlord-Tenant Act.

David continues to serve clients in the areas of retail debt collections, landlord/tenant law, evictions and foreclosures.
