Attorney David A. Kirkscey – Partner EmeritusAttorney David Kirkscey

Attorney and Senior Partner David A. Kirkscey focuses on the areas of retail collections, landlord/tenant law, evictions, foreclosures, real estate closings and similar matters.

David is a 1966 graduate of the University of Memphis School of Law and has been an active member of the Tennessee Bar Association in good standing since 1966. He became an Associate with Holt, Bachelor & Spicer of Memphis, Tennessee in 1966 and a partner from 1968-1970.

He was an original partner in the formation of Sacharin & Kirkscey in 1973 and is now Senior Partner in Sacharin, Kirkscey & Flexsenhar, the oldest creditor collections and landlord/tenant law firm in Memphis. With original partner Jon Sacharin (who passed away in 1990), David co-wrote two sections of the Tennessee Residential Landlord-Tenant Act.

David continues to serve clients in the areas of retail debt collections, landlord/tenant law, evictions and foreclosures and holds an active/good standing with the Board of Professional Responsibility of the Supreme Court of Tennessee.

Attorney Michael A. Flexsenhar, Jr.Attorney Mike Flexsenhar

Attorney and Partner Michael A. Flexsenhar, Jr. focuses on the areas of commercial collections, family law, juvenile court, divorce, child support and family law mediation services.

Mike is a 1983 graduate of the University of Memphis School of Law and an active member of the Tennessee Bar Association in good standing since 1983. He is a former Staff Attorney at the Juvenile Court of Memphis and Shelby County serving Judge Kenneth A. Turner and is a former Special Agent in the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Mike joined the firm of Sacharin & Kirkscey as an Associate in 1990 and became a partner in 2001 serving clients in the areas of retail debt collections as well as services in divorce, family law, juvenile court matters, custody, divorce and family law mediation. He is an experienced and trained Rule 31 Family Law Mediator and holds an active/good standing with the Board of Professional Responsibility of the Supreme Court of Tennessee.
